Dear Sir/Madam:

I wish to resign from my job with immediate effect on January 2013. It’s my final decision to resign immediately to pursue another career with better opportunity. I would like to be relieved of my responsibilities before the proposed date. I am also taking this opportunity to express my gratitude for all the lessons and insights I learned from the company during my period of service.
Please accept this resignation letter as an immediate notice. Advise me if there is anything I can do to ease the handover process of my workloads.
